Selma Tess Shaheen is a part of the Litigation Group of Mahaffey Pickens Tucker, LLP. Her practice covers a wide variety of legal matters including commercial litigation, medical malpractice, and other litigation matters. Additionally, she focuses a portion of her practice on ad valorem property tax reduction and appeals.
Ms. Shaheen received her Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University College of Law where she was a member of the Business Law Society and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. While in law school. Ms. Shaheen received the merit-based Catherine C. Henson Scholarship and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Writing Across Curriculum Consultant for Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business.
Ms. Shaheen received her undergraduate degree – Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Concentrating in Operations and Supply Chain Management – from Georgia Institute of Technology with Highest Honors. During her undergraduate career, Ms. Shaheen served as the Programming Coordinator for the K.N.I.T. Mentorship Organization. Ms. Shaheen currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and is a Board Member of the Laurice Khoury Foundation. She is currently admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia.
