MPT is pleased to announce that Emma Thomes will be joining the firm as a summer associate law clerk in 2026. Ms. Thomes is currently a second-year law student at the Belmont University College of Law where she is a member of the Entertainment Law Society and Christian Legal Society. Prior to law school, Emma worked as an Operations Intern at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. While in law school, Ms. Thomes worked as a law clerk for Shields Construction Law, PLLC in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a 2024 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Ms. Thomes graduated with High Honors.
