Associate
John Mahaffey is part of the Commercial Real Estate and Banking Group of Mahaffey Pickens Tucker, LLP. His practice includes representing clients in the purchase, sale, leasing, financing, and development of all types of improved and unimproved commercial real estate.
Mr. Mahaffey received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2021. While in law school, he served as a notes editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and interned for Judge William M. Ray, II on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Prior to law school, Mr. Mahaffey earned a B.B.A. in finance with a certificate in legal studies from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business and Morehead Honors College.
Before joining Mahaffey Pickens Tucker, LLP, Mr. Mahaffey spent time as an associate for Hill, Kertscher & Wharton, LLP, where his practice included intellectual property, employment, and commercial litigation.
