Kelly O. Faber is a part of the Commercial Real Estate & Banking Group of Mahaffey Pickens Tucker, LLP. Ms. Faber focuses her practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate transactions and secured lending, (including acquisition and development, construction and permanent loans). She has experience in the acquisition, financing, development and sale of residential subdivisions, condominiums, industrial properties, retail centers, and office centers throughout the state of Georgia. Ms. Faber also has extensive experience in assisting property owners and developers in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts, leases, and other documentation incident to the acquisition and development of commercial and residential properties. Additionally, Ms. Faber has extensive experience in assisting lenders through the foreclosure process.
Ms. Faber received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2003, where she was a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Journal of Intellectual Property from 2001 to 2002, Treasurer of the Student Bar Association from 2001 to 2002, and Vice-President of her first-year section. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, cum laude, in 2000, from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business, where she was a member of the Georgia Recruitment Team and a Sky Suite Ambassador.
Ms. Faber was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Georgia in 2003. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia (Real Property Law Section), the Gwinnett County Bar Association (Real Property Law Section) and the American Bar Association. Ms. Faber and her family live in Dacula, Georgia.
